BELTS & HOSES INSPECTION & REPLACEMENT

Vehicles typically have either a single serpentine belt or multiple belts, including the timing belt. Belt life varies, so make sure that your Automotive Service Technician inspects them when you are having your car serviced.

Drive belts power the water pump, the air conditioning, the power steering and the alternator among other components, so it’s very important to have your belts checked. Driving a vehicle with worn out belts may lead to bigger and more expensive repairs.

Vehicles also have multiple coolant hoses that keep the engine cool and the heater working properly. If they wear out you could be stranded on the side of the road, so make sure that they get inspected as well.
